Tumbleweeds

Currently rolling around in my head:

+ The kids start school in less than two weeks.
+ The same day (Aug. 31), my father is scheduled for total knee replacement.
+ My fasting glucose has been excellent since Aug. 14. I'm very proud of myself.
+ I'm looking forward to this weekend: family wedding in Lake Placid.
+ My ex is having a sleep study done to try to determine why he's had severe insomnia for the past three weeks.
+ There's a crib in my house, for the first time since 2003.

He who shall remain nameless

Last night's dream:

I had the baby. It was a boy, very chubby, with red hair. Delivery was effortless. The next day, I and some family members took him around to meet the neighbors. The baby was already walking, by the way. I wanted to introduce him but realized that I couldn't remember his name. My family either didn't know or wouldn't tell me. Crazy.



Side notes:

I may have dreamed red hair because Larry set up the crib yesterday, and put a Raggedy Andy doll in there as a "placeholder."
Larry confessed that he goes in the baby's room multiple times a day and tries to envision how it's going to be in a few months. Which I think is very sweet.
